These are darling! Wonderful work! We are a rather young family in terms of kids (3yo and 1.5yo) so we really don't have very many traditions--yet! One I would love to make a habit is driving around to see the Christmas lights one evening. There is even a neighborhood in a nearby city that decorates their yards with plywood "Christmas cards" of different characters such as Pooh and Cinderella! Lots of fun.

HandbagsbyJen said...

What a cute little boy. My favorite Christmas tradition is decorating the tree as a family. Everyone has their own ornaments and the memories that we talk about while putting them on the tree are wonderful.

As I was growing up my family always read "The Night Before Christmas" together on Christmas eve. As we got old enough my brothers and I joined in with the reading, all of us passing the book and reading a page each. I'm continuing the tradition with my own little family and am excited for this Christmas as my daughter is beginning to read!

My favorite holiday tradition is filling out Christmas cards to our future self on Christmas Eve and reading last year's cards. It's all done privately, so it offers a time of reflection and maybe a little humor, depending on what we've written. Either way, it's always neat to read, and I'm amazed how I never remember what I had put in there, even though it's only been a year!

Every year, on Christmas eve, my parents and I open one present. We open the rest on Christmas day :)
